MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. (www.blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s golf team was back on the road over the weekend for the Minnesota Golf Classic hosted by Bethel University at the Pioneer Creek Golf Course. With a field of over 100 golfers from Division I, II, and III, the Blugolds top team finished 2nd overall out of 15 teams in attendance and Nick Amtmann (Sr. – Nashotah, Wis.) tied for 10th overall individually.

The Blugolds will return home for their annual Frank Wrigglesworth tournament on Sunday, September 15th. The two-day tournament is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club.
