DORADO, Puerto Rico — App State Men’s Golf has left the mainland to compete in Puerto Rico at the Dorado Beach Collegiate hosted by UNCG.
The 54-hole event includes 18 holes on Sunday, Monday at Tuesday at TPC Dorado Beach near San Juan, which is on Atlantic Standard Time. The opening round will begin at 8:30 a.m. AT, or 7:30 a.m. ET.
Ben Read, Alex Martin, Herman Huus, Colin Browning and Rob Bergevin will represent the Mountaineers, while Ben Locker will compete as an individual.
In addition to App State and UNCG, other teams in the field are Illinois State, Ball State, Southern Miss, Old Dominion, Valparaiso, Loyola (Maryland), Army, Temple, George Mason, Winthrop, UConn, Bryant, Wofford and James Madison. That total includes four Sun Belt programs.
The 2024-25 season is presented by Hound Ears Club.
