CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago men’s golf tees off the 2024-25 season this weekend at the GolfWeek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Round one is slated for Sunday, while rounds two and three will be played on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
Loyola will be joined by Richmond, Arkansas State, UT-Arlington, Stetson, Stephen F. Austin, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian, Austin Peay, Wright State, New Orleans, North Carolina A&T, Mercer, and Seton Hall at the invitational.
The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,971-yard course at the True Blue Golf Club.
Loyola’s lineup features one freshman and four veterans for opening weekend. Clay Heilman will make his Maroon & Gold debut Friday morning.
Charlie Kulwin, Zach Mulhearn, Sebastian Kasun, and Dori Lee all make their return for the Ramblers. Kulwin finished last season with a 74.9 stroke average, while Mulhearn’s 17 rounds played translated to a 78.5 stroke average.
Kasun looks to build off his breakout sophomore season where he finished with a 74.4 stroke average. He had a season-best finish one under par for 13th at the Ross Collegiate last year.
Lee will open his junior season Friday after posting a 77.9 stroke average in 2023-24.
