ITHACA N.Y.- The Cornell men’s golf opens their spring season on Feb. 17 at the 19th-annual Wexford Intercollegiate Men’s Golf Tournament at the Arnold Palmer Signature Course in Hilton Head, S.C.
TOURNAMENT INFO
The Wexford Intercollegiate is a two-day tournament, playing 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday for a total of 54 on the week.
Cornell is joined in the field by 18 teams including Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, Cleveland State, Dartmouth, Dayton, Denver, East Carolina, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Mercer, Presbyterian, Radford, Samford, Temple, USC Aiken, Xavier and host Francis Marion University.
Arnold Palmer Signature Course is a par-72 course that plays 6,884 yards long in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
LAST TIME OUT
Before winter break, the golf team wrapped up its final fall tournament with a team score of 881 at the Bucknell Invitational. The Big Red tied for 11th out of 18 teams.
Jackson Debusschere finished the 54-hole tournament at +4, posting a final-round 75 for a career-best 214 (69-70-75). Overall, the senior tallied 12 birdies during the tournament as he placed 13th overall. His second top-15 finish of the 2024-25 campaign.
Freshman TJ Betlow finished the tournament with a one-under 71 highlighted by an eagle on 15 for the best Big Red score on Tuesday. Betlow finished +12 (70-81-71) over 54 holes.
