University of Missouri men’s golf wrapped up play at The Williams Cup on Tuesday, placing 10th in a field that included seven teams ranked in the top 35 nationally.
Junior Virgilio Paz led the Tigers in scoring for the second-straight day with a one-over 73. Overall, Paz (76-73-73) and senior Dagbjartur Sigurbrandsson (73-75-74) finished tied for the team lead at +6 during the three-day tournament, placing 35th in the 75-man field.
Sophomore Brock Snyder (77-80-73) added his best round of the tournament and matched Paz for the team lead on Tuesday with a 73. Mattias Varjun finished one stroke behind Paz and Sigurbrandsson at +7 (74-75-74), while Veikka Viskari also carded a 74 on the final to finish +9 (76-75-74).
The Tigers are back in action next week, competing at The Clerico beginning on Monday, Oct. 28 in their final tournament of the fall campaign.
