WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – Over the weekend, the Albion College men’s golf team had an incredibly impressive performance at the Regional Showcase. Competing against some of the best teams in the region, the Britons tied for sixth out of 22 teams, shooting a two-day total of 615.
Blake Wagner and Alex Olmsted each tied for 19th overall. Wagner shot a 73-80–153 while Olmsted, a freshman, recorded a score of 79-74–153. Sophomore Camden Paul’s 78-76–154 was next for Albion. Ryan Knitter carded a 78-77–155 over the weekend to finish one stroke back of Paul.
With a total of 83-80–163, Nicholas Giannone rounded out the team. Freshman Bradley Davis competed as an individual with a score of 78-79–157.
On Saturday, Albion competes in the next MIAA Jamboree hosted by Kalamazoo College.
