ANGOLA, Ind. – In one of the bigger invitationals of the fall, the Albion College men’s golf team had a solid showing at the Ken Venturi Invitational, shooting a 308 and taking sixth overall.
Sophomore Camden Paul led the way with a season-low score of 74. One stroke behind Paul was Ryan Knitter, who carded a 75. Fellow junior Blake Wagner was the next Briton to finish, shooting a 78 on the afternoon.
Rounding out the Albion lineup were freshmen Nicholas Giannone (81) and Alex Olmsted (89). Freshmen Matt Sypniewski and Bradley Davis competed as individuals. Sypniewski shot an 81, while Davis finished with a 78.
The Britons wrap up MIAA play for the fall on Saturday at the fourth Jamboree of the season. Adrian College will be the host for the 1 p.m. start.
