LAKE FOREST, IL.- The Augusta University men’s golf team is competing in the Windon Memorial Classic hosted by Northwestern Sunday and Monday Sept. 29-30. Round one was completed but round two was suspended due to darkness as teams will have to finish up the tournament on Monday. It will be a shotgun start at 8:30 CST.
After the opening round, the Jaguars were in 12th place at +9 in the 16-team field. Arizona was on top of the leaderboard following round one with South Florida and host Northwestern in third.
Stefan Jacobs was the low AU golfer posting a -1 (71). Chapman Barnett was +2 for his opening round followed by Pieter Rossouw Jr. at +3. Bo Blanchard II +5 score was the other counting tally for the team to open the event.
