LIHUE, Hawaii – Long Beach State Men’s Golf had an outstanding day at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, recording the best team round of any program over the first two days with a 15-under 265, climbing up to second place on the leaderboard on Friday.
“The boys played well today all the way through the lineup,” said head coach
Rob Murray. “It was a day we could score with good weather conditions and we took advantage of that. We’re in contention with 18 holes to play and that’s all you ask for as a coach.”
