KENT, Ohio – The Kent State men’s golf team announced on Monday the addition of Christoffer Witte Leuenhagen to their 2025 signing class. The Esbjerg, Denmark native joins Liam Curtis as signees who are set to begin their freshman seasons in the Fall.
A successful 2024 for Witte Leuenhagen saw him win the West Coast Masters, posting a three-round score of 225, and the Haderslev Open. He also recorded a runner-up finish at the Varderama Open last Fall. Additionally, Witte Leuenhagen finished number four in match play at the Danish Championship and number six in the Danish Stroke Play Championship.
Witte Leuenhagen is currently ranked in the top 1000 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) and is a member of the Danish men’s national team.
“We are beyond excited to welcome Christoffer to the Kent State University golf family,” head coach Jon Mills said. “His talent, dedication, and passion for the game will be a tremendous asset to our program. We can’t wait to see him continue to grow and make an impact on the course. This is just the beginning of something special!”
