BALTIMORE, MD — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) introduced the 2024-25 All-CIAA Preseason Men’s Basketball Team and predicted order of finish as the Bowie State Bulldogs were picked to finish 11th overall voted by the CIAA Sports Information Directors Association announced at Monday’s annual CIAA Basketball Media Day.
The Bulldogs finished last season with a record of 12-17 and a conference record of 6-11. Kevon Corley was named the 2023-24 CIAA Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Year, averaging 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and a shooting percentage of 46 percent from the field, 41 percent from the 3-point line, and 58-percent free throw shooter for BSU last season.
Bowie State will open its 2024-25 season with the Bulldog Tip-Off Classic featuring Fayetteville State, Lock Haven and Clarion on Nov. 8-9 inside A.C. Jordan Arena – home of the Kevin Durant Court.
