Holmstrom completed 295 of 394 (74.9%) passes for 3,758 yards, 46 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also ran for 711 yards and eight TDs on 116 carries as Seminole reached the area round of the playoffs.
Stanzione, the district defensive MVP, posted a team-high 167 tackles (126 solo), including eight for a loss, two sacks, three interceptions, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and five pass breakups.
Stanek made 38 catches for 655 yards and eight TDs. He was voted district offensive newcomer of the year.
The Plainsmen came a long way in two years.
Monterey won a share of the district championship and finished 7-5 overall after reaching the area round of the playoffs. It was the Plainsmen’s first district title since 2006 and first postseason win since 2018.
Monterey has increased its win total each year under Thrash, bouncing back after an 0-10 season in 2022.
Rodriguez was 152 of 249 passing for 2,454 yards, 25 TDs and four interceptions. He rushed 42 times for 179 yards and three TDs.
Baxter ran for 1,157 yards and 21 TDs on 133 carries (8.7 average). He was the district MVP.
Ross ran for 2,019 yards and 18 TDs.
Campbell recorded 81 catches for 1,497 yards (18.5 average) and 18 TDs. He also ran for 316 yards and six TDs on 38 carries. Campbell also had a kick-return TD and threw for 97 yards and two scores.
Dever had 67 catches for 1,180 yards and 17 TDs. He also ran for 104 yards and a TD on eight carries and had 123 yards and two scores on seven kickoff returns.
McCormick made 86 catches for 1,364 yards (15.9 average) and 20 TDs.
Stone had 71 catches for 1,486 yards (20.9 average) and 29 TDs.
Aguirre graded at 92% with 19 pancakes and zero sacks allowed.
Hatton was a first-team all-district offensive tackle.
Page, the district offensive lineman of the year and Stephen F. Austin signee, graded at 89%.
Smith recorded 83 pancakes and 129 knockdowns to earn district offensive lineman of the year.
Sugarek graded at 94% with 13 pancakes and 22 knockdowns.
Cramer rushed 119 times for 596 yards and 14 TDs, adding 34 catches for 339 yards and five TDs. He was also 1 of 1 passing for a 15-yard TD.
Brown had 57 tackles (37 solo), including six for a loss, eight sacks, one forced fumble and two quarterback hurries.
Soliz had 45 tackles, including nine for a loss, five sacks and 18 quarterback hurries.
Vaea recorded 90 tackles (58 solo), including nine for a loss, nine sacks, three quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Baxter had 75 tackles, including seven for a loss, four sacks and one interception.
Guitron had 106 tackles, including 15 for a loss, four sacks, four quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Harris recorded 137 tackles (66 solo), including 11 for a loss, one sack and one forced fumble.
Washington, the district defensive MVP, had 75 tackles, including nine for a loss, and three sacks in six games played.
Epps-Keller had 25 tackles (21 solo), including two for a loss, five interceptions and six pass breakups.
Gant had 71 tackles, two interceptions and three forced fumbles. He also had a punt-return TD.
Garza, a North Texas signee, posted 25 tackles, two interceptions and 14 pass breakups.
Thomas recorded 103 tackles (46 solo), including one for a loss, one interception and two fumble recoveries.
Patton was 6 of 8 on field-goal attempts with a long of 48 yards and 41 of 41 on extra points. He averaged 40.0 yards on 23 punts with a long of 63.
Bailey had 14 kickoff returns for 409 yards (29.2 average), including a long of 95 yards, and a TD. He also averaged 8.9 yards on 13 punt returns.
