The commercial fitness leader will share insights on emerging trends and wellness initiatives to meet the evolving needs of fitness-conscious travelers
Commercial fitness equipment brand Matrix Fitness has been named the official partner of the International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA) as part of a joint initiative on the role of fitness and wellness in luxury hospitality.
Matrix Fitness will offer guidance on emerging trends, technology integration and wellness initiatives that cater to the needs of travelers.
“Matrix Fitness’s leadership in premium wellness technology makes them an ideal partner for ILHA,” International Luxury Hotel Association president Barak Hirschowitz said. “Their solutions empower luxury hotels to deliver personalized, holistic experiences that resonate with today’s discerning travelers. This collaboration amplifies our shared vision of integrating wellness as a cornerstone of modern luxury.”
The partnership will include Matrix’s involvement at ILHA’s INSPIRE Luxury Hospitality Conference in Las Vegas and potentially the Luxury Hospitality Summit in Prague, according to the sides.
“As guest expectations around wellness continue to evolve, we look forward to working with ILHA to provide industry professionals with insights and solutions that enhance the fitness experience within luxury hotels,” said Rachel Lenzner, Matrix Fitness hospitality and wellness strategic account manager.
Several leading fitness brands are pushing into the tourism space.
Technogym offers both a “prestige” and “premium” solution for hotels looking to outfit their spaces with its premium equipment. The brand’s equipment is featured in several hotels across the globe, including the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, the Andaz Hotel in New York, The Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews and The Four Seasons in Madrid. Meanwhile, Peloton has partnerships with Hilton and Hyatt properties.
Equipment aside, fitness pioneer Tracy Anderson has a residency through April 30 at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, where the hotel will host 90-minute TA workouts. Anderson will be there in person during ViTAlity Week at The Colony from March 28 to March 31.
