Martina Navratilova and Julia Lemigova officially have future doubles partners.
The tennis legend and “Real Housewives of Miami” star, who wed in December 2014, are new parents to two boys.
The local couple, who experienced a few stops and starts in the adoption process due to Navratilova’s health issues, confirmed the happy news this week.
“We are over the moon recognizing the challenges and the rewards for everybody,” said a statement to their employer, Bravo.
The ages and names of the children were not revealed and it’s unclear where they were born and if they are related.
Lemigova, the first LGBTQ+ Real Housewife in franchise history, is already mom to two grown daughters from previous relationships. The former Miss USSR has discussed wanting to expand their brood on the show for a while. But last January, Navratilova, 67, was diagnosed with both throat and breast cancer, the latter which the Czech native had beaten in back in 2010.
Lemigova, 52, explained that was the reason they decided to put shut the door briefly on their family’s plans.
“When you’re adopting a child, it has to be about the child,” she said on the Season 5 “RHOM” reunion. “And, right now, it’s everything about Martina, and for her [to be] getting healthy.”
The 18-time Grand Slam singles champion was declared cancer free in March.
After her famous wife was given the all clear by docs, Lemigova told People magazine that they weren’t making any big decisions right away.
“We just try not to go too much ahead of ourselves,” she said. “Just embracing each other, thanking life for every healthy day and being positive, being happy and just taking it slow. It’s almost like a clean slate in life.”
