My journey with the Philly Sports Trips gang started on Friday afternoon. Our first flight was from Philly –> Miami. From there we started the hike from the States to Rio de Janeiro. 7.5 hours later, we made it! Lots of sleeping on the plane meant that the “GO BIRDS” chants started as soon as we all stood up to collect our carry on bags.
