Valley City State head golf coach Clayton Mannie has resigned his position, effective immediately.
Mannie has guided the VCSU men’s and women’s golf teams for the past three seasons. He is stepping down from his golf position to work as a full-time professor in VCSU’s technology and STEM education department.
“We appreciate the time and effort Clay put into leading our golf programs for the past three seasons,” said VCSU athletic director Dennis McCulloch. “We have started a search for our next golf coach and look to have someone in place before athletes return in August.”
