HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – Police in Henrico say they found a man shot to death in his car at the Tuckahoe Village Shopping Center Sunday evening.
On Dec. 22, just before 10:30 p.m., police responded to the 11200 block of Patterson Avenue for a reported medical emergency.
On scene, officers located an adult male in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Based on evidence collected at the scene, investigators have determined this incident to be a homicide.
Investigators identified the victim as Michael LaShawn Wright, 33, of Henrico.
Henrico Police is working with the State’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
No suspect information is available as detectives continue to process evidence and follow up on leads.
