QATAR. MAC Cosmetics is partnering with Qatar Duty Free to host a month-long immersive pop-up experience marking National Lipstick Day at Hamad International Airport.
The high-profile branded takeover at the airport, which mirrors a major campaign for Lipstick Day in 2023, runs from 22 July to 24 August. Travellers can encounter makeup expert services, games and more activities, alongside the opportunity to personalise their lipstick purchases.
MAC Artists are assisting consumers in finding their own shade of MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick, MAC’s new luxury formula. Consumers can play the MACximal High Striker to win prizes. As part of the promotion, all consumers will receive a free lipstick with every MAC full-size product purchase.
“National Lipstick Day isn’t just a date – it’s a global celebration of colour and confidence,” said MAC Cosmetics, Travel Retail EMA Regional Brand Director Paolo De Sanctis.
“This year, we are taking the celebration to new heights with an unprecedented partnership. We’re inviting travellers to experience our legendary shades and discover the latest in beauty innovation. It’s more than an event; it’s a celebration of colour, confidence, and cosmetic artistry on an international stage.”
Qatar Airways Group Chief Retail and Hospitality Officer Thabet Musleh said: “We don’t believe in doing things small at Qatar Duty Free. We’re all about delivering amazing experiences, where every traveller passing through the airport is in for a journey they’ll never forget.
“We are thrilled to team up with MAC Cosmetics once again and welcome everyone to join us in the beauty festivities.” ✈
