Louisville women’s basketball has had a travel-heavy schedule to start the season.
After traveling to France to start November, the 22nd-ranked Cardinals will close out the month with back-to-back road games. Their first trip will be to Orlando, Florida, to play South Florida at 1 p.m. today in the inaugural WBCA Showcase.
Louisville enters the contest on the heels of a 107-70 win over Morehead State. It’s the program’s highest scoring performance since beating Bellarmine, 111-33, last year. U of L had four double-digit scorers, led by Imari Berry’s 21 points.
Louisville also took better care of the ball and had 13 turnovers, its fewest all season. The squad will look to put together another strong offensive showing in Florida before traveling to Colorado on Nov. 30.
The game won’t be televised nationally but will be streamed on Peacock via NBC Sports’ FAST Channel.
Nick Curran (play-by-play) and Cortnee Walton (analyst) will have the call on the Cardinal Sports Network (WLCL 93.9-FM and WGTK 970-AM in Louisville).
