Louisville women’s basketball coach Jeff Walz talks about how women’s basketball has grown over the past couple of years due to social media.
Louisville women’s basketball has a rigorous back half to its regular-season schedule.
The Cardinals’ February starts with third-ranked Notre Dame in what will be their only home-and-home series of the season. The month also includes top-25 opponents California, Duke and North Carolina. While the challenges present opportunities for upsets, U of L can’t look too far ahead and still has SMU on its schedule.
The Cardinals (14-6, 7-2 ACC) are set to take on the Mustangs in an 8 p.m. road contest today. They’ve fared well on the road this season (7-2) and picked up a win Sunday at Virginia.
Stay tuned here for live updates throughout the ACC contest.
The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network with Jay Alter and Debbie Antonellion the call. Qualified subscribers can stream the game on ESPN+.
Nick Curran (play-by-play) and Cortnee Walton (analyst) will have the call on the Cardinal Sports Network (WLCL 93.9-FM and WGTK 970-AM in Louisville).
