When the hurly-burly’s done

When the battle’s lost and won …

Fair is foul and foul is fair

Losing to Australia has really done a number on Indian cricket. The captain stood down – or was told to stand back – the veteran off-spinner went home, the coach is under enormous strain, Virat Kohli is the target of vilification, and the players have been criticised for – among other things – turning their backs on first-class cricket.

But never fear, as the real source of the failure has been identified … it was those damn women and kids.
