LAAC NEWS RELEASE
The Los Alamos Arts Council’s annual Affordable Arts shopping experience begins at noon Saturday, Nov. 9. With more than 125 new and returning artists, this annual tradition is a community favorite and is a wonderful way to shop local and put money into the hands of local artists.
With gifts for all budgets and tastes, people will want to check in often for new items, returning favorites, and in-house specials. The season officially kicks off Saturday and runs through Dec. 23, with normal Gallery hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
This winter weather means the members-only preview will be rescheduled from today to 5-7 p.m. Saturday with normal shop hours resuming Tuesday, Nov. 12. If people are not already a member, they can become one by visiting www.losalamosartscouncil.org and enjoy 10 percent off purchases in the gallery shop year round, including during the busy holiday shopping season.
LAAC hopes everyone enjoys this wintery weather and shops the Affordable Arts at the Fuller Lodge Art Center this holiday season.
