LIV Golf has held a tournament at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Saudi Arabia each of the last three years, with last season’s event won by Torque GC Captain Joaquín Niemann on the individual side, while Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC took home the team title.
However, this year’s stop in Saudi Arabia will be unlike any before it, with the the golbal golf league’s first-ever trip to the city of Riyadh marked by the distinctly different look and feel of night golf.
Designed in its current form by Scottish architect Duncan Thompson, Riyadh Golf Club opened in 2005 and it is now known affectionately as the “Oasis of the Capital” and the “Pearl of the Desert”.
Fans can catch all the action from the season-opening event on FOX Sports or streaming on the LIV Golf app.
