LIV Golf’s 2025 season kicks off this week in Saudi Arabia with a bold new twist—the season-opening event at Riyadh Golf Club will be played entirely under the stars from Feb. 6-8.
For the first time, the action will unfold after dark, adding a unique atmosphere that promises to make this season even more thrilling. The new 54-hole format brings fresh energy to the game, with every swing and putt taking place in the dramatic glow of stadium lights, offering fans a whole new way to experience golf. This year, you can watch it all on Sling.
The player lineup is stacked with top-tier talent, including veterans like Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, and Dustin Johnson, alongside stars like Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith.
This year’s team format will count all four individual scores in each round, unlike previous seasons where all four scores only counted in the final round. This format fosters camaraderie and strategy, as players collaborate to secure team victories while still vying for individual glory. The 2025 season features 13 teams, each comprising four players, with notable captains like Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, and Sergio García.
The 14-tournament season will be broadcast on FOX Sports and the best way to watch is through Sling.
Sling’s Blue package includes the broadcast network, starting at $22.50 for the first month ($45/month after that). Plus, the package offers access to over 40 other channels, including NBC, Bravo, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, A&E, and more.
Sling also offers a 3-month pre-pay and save option, so you can watch even more sports, including NBA, March Madness, MLB, NHL, and much more.
