“I’m excited to get the year started. Practice has definitely shown that we’re still as good, if not even better than last year, so it’ll be interesting to see how we start the year,” said Little Rock head coach Jenna Birch. “I’m looking forward to getting on the road with the girls and teeing up in the first event of the season.”
The Redbird Invitational field will include the following teams — Bradley, Butler, Drake, Evansville, Illinois State, Illinois Wesleyan, Indiana State, IU-Indianapolis, Little Rock, Loyola (Chicago), Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, South Dakota, and Valparaiso.
This is the first year Little Rock will compete in this event.
