LinkedIn News is out with its annual list of Jobs on the Rise in Dallas, “a data-backed ranking of the 10 fastest-growing jobs over the past three years in the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex.” And—no surprise—an AI job tops the 2025 list.
LinkedIn calls the list “a roadmap that can point you in the right direction at any stage of your career.”
Here are the hottest jobs in DFW, per LinkedIn News:
1 :: Artificial Intelligence Engineer
The most common industries doing the hiring are technology and internet, IT services and IT consulting, and insurance companies, LinkedIn says of the job, which skews “78% male.”
2 :: Travel Advisor
Flipping the gender skew, “80%” of clients’ travel planning and booking is done by female travel advisors, LinkedIn reports.
3 :: Community Sales Manager
These jobs in real estate and building construction include new home sales, residential real estate, real estate transactions, and other pursuits that rely on “relationship building, prospecting, and revenue generation,” LinkedIn notes.
4 :: Electro Mechanical Technician
Skewing “93%” male, these electrically savvy technicians “install and maintain automated mechanical equipment and other electromechanical machinery to ensure proper functionality,” LinkedIn writes.
5 :: Property Administrator
Highlighted in industries from real estate to staffing to defense and space manufacturing, these administrators “manage the administrative tasks related to real estate properties, including leasing activities, maintenance coordination and financial record-keeping,” LinkedIn writes.
Rounding out the list from No. 6 to No. 10 are Mental Health Therapist, Internal Audit Manager, Revenue Manager, Clinical Social Worker, and Building Engineer.
