Men’s apparel retailer DXL Big + Tall is coming to Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan, adding another national brand to this Somerset County shopping destination. The 6,130-square-foot lease also brings the 150,000-square-foot property to 100% occupancy, Levin Management Corporation (LMC), leasing and managing agent announced on Tuesday.
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Kelty arranged the transaction on behalf of property ownership; Alison Horbach of RIPCO Real Estate represented the tenant. DXL Big + Tall will take over the space formerly occupied by Harmon Discount at Somerville Circle Shopping Center, located at the junction of routes 202/206 and Route 28.
With more than 250 stores nationwide, DXL Big + Tall offers one of the most extensive assortments of men’s big and tall clothing and shoes available across all price points –from value-priced private labels to high-end designer names. DXL’s Certified Fit Experts offer personalized measurements and style advice.
“The addition of a widely recognized and respected apparel brand reinforces our commitment to provide area shoppers with a variety of high-quality retail options,” Kelty said. “DXL Big + Tall is a perfect match for Somerville Circle Shopping Center and a wonderful complement to our existing tenant mix.”
Somerville Circle Shopping Center is multi-anchored by Burlington, P.C. Richard & Son, Staples and Petco. The property also includes: Five Below, Panera Bread, Carter’s, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Jersey Mike’s, Burger King and PNC Bank. The center draws 1.6 million visitors per year, according to real time traffic data from Placer.ai. It serves a growing population of more than 119,000 people within a five-mile radius.
The DXL Big + Tall lease at Somerville Circle Shopping Center reflects LMC’s strong relationships with prominent retail space users; a second lease with this growing retailer will be announced shortly.
