JP Duminy, a former international cricket player and South African cricket coach, has officially announced that he and his wife, Sue, are divorcing. This comes after multiple claims that the couple had broken up since the end of 2024. After 12 years of marriage, Duminy and his estranged wife have declared their separation. On Monday, the former player announced the news through a post on his official Instagram account.

Fans had been speculating about the couple’s separation for months after seeing that there were not many pictures of them together on social media. In 2011, JP and Sue got married, and they had two daughters. The last social media post of the two together was during Duminy’s 40th birthday celebrations in April 2024, which sparked speculation that they were splitting up. The couple appeared content as they danced and kissed in the birthday clip. After Duminy declared his divorce, rumours that JP and Sue were no longer together were verified.
“After much consideration JP and I have decided to part ways. We were fortunate to have shared many memorable moments together during our marriage and are blessed with two beautiful daughters. At this time we kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition. Though our paths diverge we remain friends and our separation is amicable. Thank you for the love and support during this time,” the post read.
