Balling runs in the James family blood.
Bryce James, the 17-year-old son of NBA legend LeBron James, rang in the new year with a major update on the future of his basketball career.
In a Jan. 1 post to Instagram, Bryce shared a picture of himself donning an Arizona basketball jersey with a caption confirming that he has fully committed to join the University of Arizona Wildcats.
In November, the teen teased his commitment to the school by posting a series of photos to Instagram of himself in Arizona gear, but many users pointed out in the comments that the post was the result of a visit to the university.
Sharing in the excitement of Bryce’s confirmation, LeBron—who, along with Bryce, shares son Bronny, 20, and daughter Zhuri, 10, with wife Savannah James—posted the same image alongside an emphatic caption and a slew of emojis.
“BEAR DOWN!!!!!” LeBron wrote, referencing the college’s official rally cry, before referencing his youngest son’s middle name by adding, “CONGRATULATIONS Maximus!!”
