ESCANABA — The Yooper Fall Classic closed out the program Saturday night with the mechanics races. Larry Leach and his brother George Leach each raced in the sportsmen class in the late 1960’s and 70’s.
Larry got the opportunity to race on the Escanaba Speedway for the first time in four decades. Larry picked up the win as he got behind the wheel of Randy DeGrave’s exhibition vintage modified.
“It’s a lot tougher to get out of the car now, but it was fun to get back out there,” Larry Leach said.
