A woman in her 40s with brown-red hair reportedly left a store toting a black bag containing about $210 worth of stolen footwear and then drove away in a silver Honda.   

Store security called the Kalispell Police Department with concerns that a woman reportedly talking to herself might be a missing person and homeless  

A man riding a scooter was allegedly hit by a vehicle, and left, which concerned someone who called the police. He supposedly returned to the scene but then left again. A woman at the scene denied hitting him. Officers were unable to locate the man, but he called later claiming she purposely hit him and would not provide her information. Officers eventually spoke with all involved, letting them know they had several opportunities to report the incident, but did not, and that they had different accounts of what took place. Officers did not see any damage to the man’s scooter.  

Someone suspected that a 30-gallon propane tank a pedestrian was reportedly carrying was stolen.   

A toddler allegedly got out of a hotel room and was seen running up and down a second-floor hallway, screaming and crying. After knocking on multiple doors, officers located the child’s aunt who was watching her while her mother was in the hospital. Officers counseled the woman about ensuring the door was secured. 

Someone suspected a man and his dog were living in an enclosed trailer with a running generator parked in their neighborhood all week. The man was advised of pertinent city ordinances.  

Two red cars were reportedly driving between lanes at the same time. An officer, in the area at the time of the call, didn’t see anything that the caller described.   

About 30 vehicles were purportedly drifting out on the highway and pulling back into a parking lot.   

A woman wanted advice on what help she could provide a runaway juvenile.   

A woman allegedly corralled and contained two dogs on the loose and was concerned for the large yellow lab because there was blood on what looked like a broken leg. The owners arrived and said the dog’s leg “had been like that for a long time” and there was “nothing they could do about it.”
