DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Palm Beach County jury found Kings Point Delray Beach resident Robert A. Levine guilty on one count of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. The jury also found him “not guilty” on a charge of firing a firearm in public, and another charge related to battery. The verdict, nearly three years after the alleged crimes, wraps up one of many prosecutions against a Kings Point Delray Beach resident. We are publishing the complete jury sheet, below.
Levine, as first reported by BocaNewsNow.com in April of 2022, was arrested and charged with shooting a golfer who was walking a dog on the Kings Point golf course. Levine was also accused of kicking the man while he lay on the ground, then hitting him with a golf club. Levine was charged with premeditated attempted murder, aggravated battery, and firing a weapon in public or on residential property. He’s been held in jail since his arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on April 25, 2022.
It was not immediately clear what sentence Levine is facing. He’s already served nearly three years as he awaited trial. Sentencing guidelines reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com suggest a maximum sentence would be roughly three years. Sentencing is set for late March.
Levine is among the very long list of Kings Point Delray Beach residents arrested and charged with gun crimes, battery, drug-related crimes, violent crimes, sex crimes, DUI, child internet image crimes, and more. Before moving into the Palm Beach County Jail, Levine lived in the Piedmont section of Kings Point. As of this post, at least 55 Kings Point residents have been arrested since 2023, 35 since 2024.
