OAK GROVE, Ky. (WSMV) – A Kentucky woman was arrested Monday after allegedly leaving two toddlers home alone to go shopping, according to WKDZ Radio.
27-year-old Britteney Upton was arrested and charged after Oak Grove Police said they found a 2-year-old and 3-year-old home alone. Upton reportedly told police she left them there while she was shopping.
Following an investigation involving the Department of Community-Based Services, Upton was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal abuse.
