Poster, who stretched his undefeated record to three races with a win in the Grade 2 Remsen on Dec. 7, worked Friday for the second time since that victory.
The Godolphin homebred by Munnings and trained by Eoin Harty worked four furlongs in 50.2 seconds over the Tapeta at Turfway Park. Poster, who was not an individual interest in the second Kentucky Derby Future Wager pool from Churchill Downs, is 45-1 in Las Vegas futures posted by Caesars Sportsbook.
Last-out allowance winner Cyclone State was the only horse in Kentucky Derby 2025 futures to post a bullet Friday. The aptly named Iowa-bred trained by Chad Summers covered five furlongs in 1:01.21. It was the fastest time of six horses over that distance on the Belmont dirt training track.
Although it took Cyclone State five starts before graduating at Aqueduct on Nov. 3, he followed that up with a gate-to-wire win as the heavy favorite in an allowance there Dec. 6. Cyclone State is 100-1 in Las Vegas.

Friday
Cyclone State (McKinzie) worked five furlongs in 1:01.2 at Belmont Park on Friday morning. It was the fastest of six works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going four furlongs at Belmont Park. In his last start he won an allowance race going one mile on the main track at Aqueduct on Dec. 6 for trainer Chad Summers.
Dominant Spirit (Mohaymen) worked four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Sam Houston. It was the fifth fastest of 35 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed third in the Remington Springboard Mile going one mile on the main track at Remington Park on Dec. 13 for trainer Bret Calhoun.
First Resort (Uncle Mo), a Grade 2 winner (2024 Kentucky Jockey Club), worked four furlongs in 49.2 seconds at Turfway Park. It was the eighth fastest of 37 works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going four furlongs at Turfway Park. In his last start he won the Kentucky Jockey Club (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 30 for trainer Eoin Harty.
Poster (Munnings), a Grade 2 winner (2024 Remsen), worked four furlongs in 50.2 seconds at Turfway Park. It was the 28th fastest of 37 works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going three furlongs at Turfway Park. In his last start he won the Remsen (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Aqueduct on Dec. 7 for trainer Eoin Harty.
Vassimo (Nyquist) worked four furlongs in 49.7 seconds at Palm Beach Downs. It was the eighth fastest of 13 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won a maiden race going one mile on the main track at Gulfstream Park on Dec. 14 for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Warheart (Omaha Beach) worked four furlongs in 49.6 seconds at Keeneland. It was the 44th fastest of 59 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Keeneland. In his last start he won the Atlantic Beach going six furlongs on the turf at Belmont at the Big A on Nov. 1 for trainer Rodolphe Brisset.
Thursday
Clock Tower (Not This Time), a Grade 3 winner (2024 Cecil B. DeMille), worked five furlongs in 59.2 seconds at Santa Anita on Thursday morning. It was the fastest of 20 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the Cecil B. DeMille (G3) going one mile on the turf at Del Mar on Dec. 1 for trainer Wesley Ward.
Handsome Pants (Daredevil) worked three furlongs in 35.8 seconds at Fair Grounds. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going three furlongs at Fair Grounds. In his last start he placed eighth in the Breeders’ Futurity (G1) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Keeneland on Oct. 5 for trainer Kenny McPeek.
