Clock Tower, who won the Cecil B. DeMille (G3) on the grass at Del Mar for Wesley Ward, worked five furlongs at Santa Anita on Saturday. It was Clock Tower’s second work since the Cecil B. DeMille, as he posted a bullet five furlongs at Santa Anita on Dec. 26. Clock Tower is 80-1 at Caesars sportsbook in Las Vegas as of Sunday.
Sacrosanct, winner of the New York Stallion Series Stakes at Aqueduct on Dec. 14, worked at Aqueduct on Saturday morning. It was the Brad Cox trainee’s first drill since that victory. Trained by Brad Cox, Sacrosanct is undefeated in four starts, all against New York-bred company. Despite not facing open company yet, Sacrosanct is 50-1 in Las Vegas.

His previous work was nine days ago going five furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he won the Cecil B. DeMille (G3) going one mile on the turf at Del Mar on Dec. 1 for trainer Wesley Ward.
Disco Time (Not This Time) worked five furlongs in 1:01.2 at Fair Grounds on Saturday morning. It was the fourth fastest of 44 works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going four furlongs at Fair Grounds. In his last start he won an allowance race going one mile on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 30 for trainer Brad Cox.
Keep It Easy (Hard Spun) worked four furlongs in 48.7 seconds at Gulfstream Park on Saturday morning. It was the 23rd fastest of 93 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the Ed Brown going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 30 for trainer Dale Romans.
Optical (City of Light) worked six furlongs in 1:13.0 at Fair Grounds on Saturday morning. It was the faster of two works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at Fair Grounds. In his last start he won a starter allowance race going one mile on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 24 for trainer Keith Desormeaux.
Owen Almighty (Speightstown) worked four furlongs in 47.6 seconds at Palm Meadows on Saturday morning. It was the third fastest of 51 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at Palm Meadows. In his last start he placed second in the Iroquois (G3) going one mile on the main track at Churchill Downs on Sept. 14 for trainer Brian Lynch.
Render Judgment (Blame) worked five furlongs in 1:02.2 at Fair Grounds on Saturday morning. It was the 22nd fastest of 44 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed third in the Gun Runner going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Fair Grounds on Dec. 21 for trainer Kenny McPeek.
Sacrosanct (Honest Mischief) worked four furlongs in 48.8 seconds at Belmont Park on Saturday morning. It was the sixth fastest of 90 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the New York Stallion Series going seven furlongs on the main track at Aqueduct on Dec. 14 for trainer Brad Cox.
Speed King (Volatile) worked four furlongs in 48.6 seconds at Oaklawn on Saturday morning. It was the 10th fastest of 163 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Oaklawn. In his last start he placed second in the Remington Springboard Mile going one mile on the main track at Remington Park on Dec. 13 for trainer Ron Moquett.
