Bob Baffert runners dominate the second edition of the Kentucky Derby 2025 scouting report for the west division. Baffert won the seven-furlong San Vicente (G2) on Saturday with Barnes. He was a dominant winner by 5 1/2 lengths as the even-money favorite in a field that included four horses from this report.
Baffert trains six of the nine horses listed in this report. Those Baffert runners include three of the top four leaders on the Kentucky Derby points list, the futures favorite at Caesars Sportsbook and a new addition to this report.
