Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats have been offensive juggernauts starting out the season, scoring 100 points or more in their first two games in the regular season.

Brandon Garrison made two free throws at the end to secure Kentucky to make it to the century mark against Bucknell in a 100-72 win.

With the recent win, Kentucky continues to make history, this time by scoring 100 points or more in each of their first two games—a milestone the Wildcats haven’t reached since the 1978-79 season, according to Corey Price.

Saturday night’s impressive win for Kentucky shows how each player can score if needed for Pope and how potent his offense is. Koby Brea was the leading scorer with 20 points, Jaxson Robinson had 14 points, Amari Williams had 13 points, Andrew Carr had 11 points, and Otega Oweh had 10 points.

Of course, Kentucky’s first big matchup is on Tuesday night against the Duke Blue Devils, so it will be interesting to see if Pope and the Cats can continue to score big and win their first big matchup of the season.
