NEENAH — The Kaukauna Ghosts girls golf team won Tuesday’s WIAA Regional tournament Tuesday at Winnagamie Golf Course to advance to Tuesday’s sectional at Thornberry Creek at Oneida golf course outside of Green Bay.
Kaukauna’s Charlie Clinefelter, McKenna Lowe and Grace Schomin tied for F first, all shooting 81.
Kennedy Kolosso shot a 94 and Clara Schomin shot 101.
The top four teams advance to the sectional round with a chance to qualify for the state tournament:

If Kaukauna advances, this would be the third year in a row that the team played at state, and the fourth for Lowe, who qualified as an individual her freshman year.
The Ghosts are coming off their fourth straight Fox Valley Association conference championship.
The Ghosts shot a school-record 325 on Sept. 26 to win the conference meet at Chaska Golf Course in Greenville.
McKenna Lowe won that tournament with a 73 and was named Fox Valley Association girls golf player of the year.

The team broke the all-time school record for team score on 18 Holes with a 325 at the tournament. The previous record was 328, set last year at the FVA Conference Championships.
