The Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, are on the threshold of a three-peat. The top-seeded Chiefs plowed through the regular season, going 15-2.
The Chiefs’ first playoff test will come from quarterback C.J. Stroud and the fourth-seeded Houston Texans (9-6) on Saturday.
The Chiefs beat the Texans, 27-19, on Dec. 21 as Mahomes passed for 260 yards and a touchdown. Stroud passed for 244 yards and two touchdowns, but was picked off twice by the Chiefs’ defense.
