Joel Bitonio and several Browns players take 40 kids Christmas shopping at Meijer
AVON, Ohio (WOIO) – Browns offensive lineman Joel Bitonio and several other players took 40 children from Cleveland Recreation Centers on a Christmas shopping spree at Meijer in Avon Monday.
Bitonio hosted the 9th annual “Shop with a Pro” event and recruited his teammates to help out. Bailey Zappe, Cameron Thomas, Wyatt Teller, Ethan Pocic, Lorenzo Thompson, Michael Dunn, and QB Jameis Winston participated in the event.
Each child was given a $175 gift card to shop with.
Bitonio’s ninth annual Shop With A Pro is a part of the Browns organization’s inaugural “Month of Giving.” Throughout the month of December, Browns players, coaches, alumni, and staff will participate in special community events and other initiatives to bring cheer to deserving organizations and individuals.
