Jersey’s women have won the Challenger Division of the European Cricket Championship after beating Germany by 15 runs in the final.
Having topped the group after winning all five of their pool games in Spain Jersey again proved they were the event’s top side in the rain-affected 10 overs a-side event.
Aimee Aikenhead hit six fours as she scored 33 off 18 balls to form the backbone of the Jersey innings.
She was the only island batter to get into double figures as Jersey made 70-6 off their 10 overs.
