In a historic move, the BCCI decided to give players a match fee of Rs 7.5 lakhs per game, regardless of the amount they fetch at auction. Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, made the huge news on X. In addition to their stipulated salary, players who appear in every match will receive an additional Rs 1.05 crore, according to the BCCI official.
