Sinner will be hoping to improve on his fourth-round exit in 2023, with his best performance at Flushing Meadows coming in 2022 when he reached the quarter-finals.

Olympic gold medallist Novak Djokovic will be looking to maintain his momentum from Paris when he returns to the hard courts of New York.

The 24-time Grand Slam winner will face a qualifier in the first round at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Djokovic defeated Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz at Roland-Garros to claim his first Olympic gold medal, but the Spaniard will be back in the hunt for a second US crown when the tournament gets underway.

The world No. 3 will also take on a qualifier in the first round.

Alexander Zverev will have to overcome Finland’s Emil Ruusuvuori to book his place in the second round.

Sinner’s side of the draw will also see wild card Stan Wawrinka and the USA’s Alex Michelsen play qualifiers for a place in the second round.

Max Purcell will play fellow Australian, Aleksandar Vukic, Lorenzo Sonego will collide with world No. 14 Tommy Paul, and Thanasi Kokkinakis will face Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Dušan Lajovic has a tough task on his hands after drawing world No. 5 Daniil Medvedev.

Jakub Mensik will take on Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime.

In Alcaraz’s quarter of the draw, Britain’s Jack Draper can expect a tough match against China’s Zhang Zhizhen, who won a silver medal in the mixed doubles at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

World No. 23 Karen Khachanov will play Dan Evans, who spent the Olympics competing alongside Andy Murray in the men’s doubles.

World No. 10 Alex de Minaur will play the USA’s Marcos Giron.

A qualifier will face world No. 7 Hubert Hurkacz and there will also be a mouthwatering clash between France’s Constant Lestienne and Australia’s Jordan Thompson.

Fabio Fognini will play Tomas Machac, Borna Coric will take on Adrian Mannarino and Alejandro Tabilo has been drawn against Belgium’s David Goffin.

Fans will be treated to Denis Shapovalov against Botic van de Zandschulp as well as the clash between Facundo Diaz Acosta and Hugo Gaston.

Zverev’s quarter of the draw will see Spain’s Roberto Carballes Baena, Norway’s Casper Ruud and France’s Gael Monfils face qualifiers for a place in the second round.

There is a fascinating contest between Taylor Fritz and Camilo Ugo Carabelli, as well as a clash between Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Matteo Berrettini.

Argentina’s Sebastian Baez will face Luciano Darderi, India’s Sumit Nagal will collide with Tallon Griekspoor and Rinky Hijikata has been drawn against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Jiri Lehecka will take on Marton Fucsovics, and wildcard Christopher Eubanks has been drawn against Arthur Rinderknech.

Ben Shelton will go up against former champion Dominic Thiem, Luca Nardi will play Roberto Bautista Agut and Alexander Shevchenko will face Dominik Koepfer.

Aleksandar Kovacevic and Frances Tiafoe will face off, Laslo Djere will take on Jan-Lennard Struff and Pedro Martinez will play a qualifier.
