I’d say Ja’Marr Chase has proven his value to the Cincinnati Bengals.
After not getting a long-term contract extension done, followed by a slow start in the regular season, Chase is back to making an argument for being the NFL’s best receiver.
In Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens, Chase had not one but two touchdown grabs, including a 70-yard scoring catch in the fourth quarter.
In the process, he made NFL history.
Entering the game, Chase was tied with Odell Beckham Jr. with nine touchdown grabs of 60+ yards before turning 25 years old, the second-most all-time. Harlon Hill held the record with 10. Chase won’t turn 25 until March 1st, 2025.
Now, the Bengals star sits with Hill at the top of the list following his long scoring grab in the Bengals’ shootout with Baltimore.
Let’s hope Chase gets to keep making history in Cincinnati for the foreseeable future.
