TULSA, Okla. – Wichita State men’s tennis juniors Kristof Minarik and Alejandro Jacome are set to compete in the ITA All-American Championships at Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Center, beginning on Saturday, September 21.
The Shocker pair will compete in both doubles and singles at the tournament. Both will begin singles in the round of 128, with Jacome playing Clemson’s Marko Mesarovic and Minarik playing Dartmouth’s Carlos Alvarez Guerrero. Minarik’s match begins at 9:30 Eastern Time and Jacome’s begins at 11:00 AM.
The duo will play their round of 32 doubles match at 3:00 PM ET against Texas A&M pair Ritesh Patil and Matthis Ross.
The top ten singles players as well as two doubles pairings will earn automatic bids to the 2024 NCAA Fall Individual Championships in Waco, Texas, November 18-28.
