Jackson State football is set to defend its championship season after the Tigers won the SWAC title and the Celebration Bowl.
The Tigers released their 2025 football schedule on Saturday. JSU will play 11 games, including eight Southwestern Athletic Conference matchups. JSU has five home games at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.
JSU’s 2025 season highlights include a trip to Hattiesburg facing Southern Miss, hosting Tuskegee in the W.C. Gorden Classic and traveling to Las Vegas facing Grambling State in the HBCU Classic. JSU’s homecoming game will be against Alabama State on Oct. 11.
The Tigers open their season on Aug. 30 against Hampton and will conclude the year by hosting Alcorn State on Nov. 23.

JSU (12-2) ended the 2024 season by winning the Celebration Bowl for the first time in program history and claiming its third SWAC championship in four years.
