SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Sioux Falls native Jack Lundin certainly has what it takes to get to the next level as a golfer.
He just finished up his college career at Missouri where he became one of the top players in the country.
Jack won a pair of HS championship at Roosevelt (including as an 8th grader) and then was the youngest ever to win the State Stroke Play Tournament in South Dakota in 2019.
But he wasn’t “finishing” some potentially great rounds in college this spring until his next coach this year gave him some much appreciated advice.
Jack Lundin says, “He’s like, you need to stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Look at all the accomplishments you’ve had. You won this at such an early age, you’ve won this at such a young age and you’ve done all this up until then. You just need to have confidence in yourself and go and do it. And I think that’s what’s helped me in realizing that I am good enough and that I just need to go play my game and it will speak for itself.”
Jack’s game speaks for itself which is why he was on team USA at the Arnold Palmer Cup in Ireland. Next up, is still having fun playing the game he loves, but doing it for a living.
