Ivanka Trump is sticking to her New Year’s resolutions. In a new string of posts, Ivanka shared with the world that her fitness goals were at the top of her priorities at the start of the year, and that she’s planning on sticking with them for the foreseeable future. She also revealed that she’s feeling stronger and better than ever.
In a new Instagram post, Ivanka shared a photo of herself in the gym, showing her fitness gains.
The image shows her standing in front of the mirror, in a sports bra, white sneakers, and blue short tights. She rounded out the look with some gloves to protect her hands from the weights, and her hair held back in a bun.
“Sticking to New Year’s resolutions isn’t easy—only 23% of people make it past the first week. [I’ve fallen into that category many, many times!] But every day is a new opportunity to show up and stay committed,” Ivanka captioned the post.
“Feeling stronger and more motivated as February begins —let’s keep going! Strong body / Strong mind!”
Over the past months, Ivanka has opened up about her fitness journey, which changed following her move to Miami, when she began incorporating weight lifting into her routines.
“I believe in a strength training approach built on foundational, time-tested, and simple movements,” she wrote in a recent post. She credited workouts like “Squats, Deadlifts, Hinges, Pushes, and Pulls” for some of the most noticeable changes she’d seen and felt in her strength and body composition.
“I used to focus primarily on cardio, yoga, and Pilates,” she explained. “Since moving to Miami, I have shifted my focus to weightlifting and resistance training.”
“It has been transformative in helping me build muscle and shift my body composition in ways I hadn’t imagined,” she concluded.
