As we previously reported, top-40 class of 2026 wing Aidan Chronister was in Bloomington for a visit this weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, Chronister announced an offer from the Hoosiers.
This was the Rogers, Ark. product’s third visit to IU. He was at Indiana on multiple occasions last year, including a full day for Hoosier Hysteria in October.
“Hearing from my dad, it has always been such a big program,” he told TDH in July. “I’ve always heard about their fans, they’re crazy about basketball. Indiana is known as a basketball state for sure. And going there and seeing it definitely helped.”
He has also noticed how IU puts players in the NBA.
“They (Indiana) preach NBA, which I really like. They definitely know how to get people to the next level. I think they have the most NBA players ever for the Big Ten, so they definitely know how to get people there for sure.”
A 6-foot-7 wing, Chronister described his game to The Daily Hoosier in July.
“I’m a shooting guard, my strong suit is definitely shooting a passing,” he told TDH. “But I’m definitely working on getting downhill and getting my handle right. I’d say you can’t leave me open but you can’t give me a step either. I’d say I’m really versatile, I don’t really need to score to make the team better. I’m good off the ball, cutting, whatever the coach needs me to do is what I’ll do.”
According to the On3 Industry Average, Chronister is the No. 45 overall player in the 2026 class, and a 4-star. He attends national prep school Sunrise Christian.
