As a professional shopper, I spend a lot of the day, well, scrolling through sales (fun, right?). Today, while making my way through the thousands upon thousands of Walmart deals, I came across a markdown so good that it had to be fake. Um, spoiler alert, it wasn’t. This bestselling lightweight puffer jacket is only $15 right now. Yep, you read that right. Since transitional weather season is coming up (if Punxsutawney Phil comes through), you’re going to need something to wear on those mildly cold days that won’t have you sweating. This puffer is just the thing. Oh, and guess what? It’s really cute too — which is why it’s selling out quickly!
The cute and versatile coat is 75% off, which, to state the obvious, is a truly wild discount. Down to $15 (from $60), this baby costs less than a movie ticket these days — and you’ll be wearing it for years.
Like I said, this lightweight coat is ideal for those days when it’s too hot for your sleeping bag of a parka but too cold for breezier jackets. Made of water-resistant polyester, it features a relaxed fit that cuts off right at the hip, two zip pockets and a high collar to keep your neck warm. It’s also machine washable and can squish up really tiny so you can pack it away.
As far as aesthetics go, the quilted chevron-ish design is timeless. Throw it on with leggings for a morning walk or run or pair it with jeans while you’re out and about. Just choose your favorite color (at this price, why not grab a few?) and live your best lightweight puffer life. Shades include black, navy, olive, fig and camel.
The Big Chill jacket is a bestseller for a reason — nearly 1,200 Walmart shoppers have given it a perfect five-star rating. Psst, that’s also why this deal is going so fast.
“Love it,” shared one happy shopper. “It arrived just in time for cooler sunny weather. It’s a nice weight for driving and running errands. I wear XL women’s shirts so the jacket fits fine over regular tops/sweatshirts/sweaters. If you prefer to layer over bulky sweaters in colder weather, you might want to size up.”
A second five-star reviewer agreed, noting how comfortable it is to wear. “Not too heavy for the car but warm enough to take a walk. The pockets zip so you don’t have to worry about losing your gloves or anything else. I don’t think you can go wrong buying this coat,” the pleased purchaser wrote.
“Jacket runs true to size and is nicely made,” wrote another fan. “The fit is nice and it kept me comfortable in 28-degree temps while running errands.
Revealed a final Walmart shopper: “This coat is perfect for my needs. I need a coat that is not too heavy because of hot flashes but warmer than a jacket because I work in a place that is air-conditioned even in the winter. It’s nothing fancy but it’s comfortable and warm.”
Even though shoppers are big fans of the puffer jacket, a few take issue with the zipper. According to one: “At first when I zipped it up the zipper just came apart but when I put it back down to reset it, it was okay. I haven’t had any trouble since then — it’s comfortable and I like it.”
Other reviewers cautioned that it runs on the smaller side, especially in the bust area, suggesting that you size up! “Love the weight of the jacket, but the sizing is off,” noted this buyer. “Great through the shoulders but tight through the bust.”
